The day started at the Hacienda Hotel in Los Angeles, the same hotel where I finished my Route 66 Trek in June earlier in the year.
Followed by a drive south down to San Diego, following the coast arriving in San Diego around lunch time. After putting up our tents at the "The Campland by the Bay" camp site we set off into San Diego.
San Diego is the southern most City in California just a few miles north of Mexico.
Pacific Beach
On the first day we visited the World famous San Diego Zoo as well as setting up camp at the Campland on the bay site
Seaworld
Day two was spent at Seaworld followed by a visit to Pacific beach.
